This is really a unique new tank that in some ways takes a nod to a couple of years ago when the majority of coils were in the 1.5Ω - 2.0Ω range. The Nautilus X coils are only 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω at the moment. With the constant flood of subtanks in the market right now, this little tanks really stands apart from the rest. The flavor this tank imparts is excellent. Additionally, while the coil resistance is not in the sub-ohm range, this little tank with a 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω resistance puts out a good amount of vapor. What I believe this tank brings to the table is the robustness to fire a coil for a decent amount of time and not begin to burn (think back on the days of evod style tanks) a nice small form factor, and absolutely excellent flavor. It's my new go-to since they arrived here. The Nautilus X is a very nice upgrade of the original Nautilus Mini, which has long been considered one of the best non-sub tanks on the market.
Cons - the top airflow control is a little tricky to adjust without unscrewing the top. As the unit is advertised as top filling, when you unscrew the top, the coil sometimes comes unscrewed with it. The coil should stay seated to the base. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Lastly, it does not allow the ability for a 510 style drip tip. With all that being said, considering how good the flavor and hit is on this tank, those tradeoffs are not that big of a deal.
From Aspire'sweb site -"The Nautilus X represents the peak of the Aspire atomizer development curve. Specially designed to provide a premium vaping experience with increased flavor, and unique U-Tech coil technology for all-new airflow performance, this is the future of micro tanks.
Poised to transform how vapers experience flavor and hassle-free day-to-day usability. The Nautilus X is the future. Born from the creative minds of the original global vaping pioneers, Aspire."
